Flower Fairies
With these hats, I decided to take the idea of knit points for earflaps a step further, adding them all around the hat. The top version also shows one way to vary the colors on the hat. Another option that works with any of the sideways-knit hats is to alternate colors every row, creating a series of upside-down V's for each lobe of the hat. The buttercup version looked so much like a flower after I finished the yellow portion that I added a calyx and stem just for fun.
